I suddenly got the urge to put the Jim Norton "Phenomenal" ringtone on my Blackberry, and I realized I didn't have one. I searched the Web and found a version on a free ringtone download site and downloaded and installed on the phone. The longer I have it, the more it bugs me because there's a gap of space at the beginning the audio file. My phone is vibrating and I'm noticing the call before it ever even starts into the ringtone.
The "Phenomenal" clip is a song put together that incorporates the Sesame Street "Mahna Mahna" song with cuts of Jim Norton using one of his favorite words, "Phenomenal". It's been one of my favorite Opie & Anthony clips for a long time.
Today, to overcome my frustration, I made my own. And as I try to do here as regularly as I can find the inspiration, I'm sharing the love. I took the original Jim Norton "Phenomenal" audio and turned it into a ringtone. Then, there's also a faster version of the "Phenomenal" audio that was produced by Dan at XM that I turned into two different ringtones -- a short version and a longer version.
